SALT LAKE CITY - Three additional performances have been scheduled for the acclaimed entertainment spectacular, Light of the World: A Celebration of Life, which has played to sold-out audiences in the Conference Center throughout the Olympic Winter Games.
President Gordon B. Hinckley asked that these encore presentations be offered as an expression of appreciation to Salt Lake Organizing Committee volunteers, Church volunteers and others in the community who have been busy with Olympic support responsibilities and have not had the opportunity to see this unique production. Everyone is welcome.
Encore performances will be presented in the Conference Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, 28 February and Friday, 1 March. A matinee will be offered at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, 2 March.
Tickets can be purchased for $5.00 each at four locations along the Wasatch Front:
Volunteers can purchase up to four tickets per person on Tuesday, 26 February from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To purchase tickets on Tuesday, volunteers will need to show SLOC or Church credentials.
Sales to the general public will begin on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the same four locations. Once sales to the general public begin, the ticket limit will be ten tickets per person.
Tickets must be purchased in person. No telephone or Internet orders will be taken. Payment must be by cash or check. Please note that credit cards will not be accepted for encore performance tickets.
